"I want to make 2011 a banner year for my art... and I want to continue dishing out pieces in which the subject has affected me in one way or another. It might be an actor/actress, a character, a dynamic duo and on a rare occasion - someone from my personal life."
That was my artistic resolution for 2011. I think I did okay:
You Didn't Disappoint
Batman Returns
Freckles
The Brightest Witch Of Her Age
Michael Scott
Weasley is Our King
Back to Formula
Bespin Betrayal
Not too bad. But that's only 8 colored pencil pieces. Granted, Hermione & Ron's took up a few months & I just spent the last 2 months of the year working on a private piece for a friend of mine, I so I didn't really post anything in the tail end of the year.
But (unless the world really DOES end) I have a feeling that 2012 will be even better for me, artistically. I already have many plans, including a companion piece to the Joker, one more Potter piece, & SEVERAL smaller character snapshots (featuring Hobbits, Vampires (not the sparkly kind), Pirates, Spies, Superheroes & some Bauers.)
So, happy trails 2011. And let's hope the Mayans were the greatest practical jokers of all time.
